HB 1768, Hinson, Comprehensive 9-1-1 Legislation. Has some serious problems. 1/10 cent sales tax and overly demanding consolidation plan. The hope is that we will use this bill to help educate legislators as the bill is DOA. Assigned to House Utilities Comm
HB 1780, Hinson, 9-1-1 Board Bill. The effort is to create a state-wide 9-1-1 board which can help advise the legislature on the complicated issues such as consolidation and parity.
